Although EnergyXT is capable of connecting to the Jack audio server in Linux, it only comes with a ALSA version of libaam. To use Jack you need to install the Jack and ALSA dev headers and compile libaam using the Jack client source code from EnergyXT. Or even easier, download my precompiled version from here.
